This past week YWAM San Jose hosted an international conference for Central and South America. 260 missionaries gathered from over 30 nations for five days of teaching, worship, praying together and receiving new vision and clarity.
Praying for the nations
Loren Cunningham, the founder of YWAM
It was amazing to have the founder of our mission, Loren Cunningham, with us at the conference to encourage this region, align our vision and encourage our unity as a mission. It was truly an incredible time.

We all worked together to help make this conference successful. Scott helped with transportation, driving people and things to and from the airport to the conference center and back again.
Leslie having fun with the kids
I, (Leslie)helped with kids program. It was such a fun time to be with children from all over the region, we even had a few girls from indigenous tribes in Panama. We held a “mini” DNA conference for the children where we taught them the same principles being taught in the adult sessions. They had so much fun dancing, singing and learning some of YWAM’s foundational values, like hearing God’s voice and how we started as a mission. My favorite time was being able to pray over each child and helping the children pray for each other to hear God’s voice and dream His dreams. Kai, Ezzy and Jude had such a fun week with all the kids, they didn’t want to leave at the end of it.
